38 Week Checkup

We are getting ready for baby Reid to arrive on December 10th and I wanted a way to keep friends and family updated. Starting a blog seemed like the obvious choice.

I had my 38 week checkup yesterday and everything seems fine. Reid seems happy in his temporary home and has barely dropped. I am only dilated 1 cm and have been there for the past two weeks. His heartrate dropped this week from 155 to 125. Dr. Stafford said that was normal in the last few weeks of pregnancy. We will probably go into the hospital on Tuesday, December 9th and induce labor on the morning of December 10th with Pitocin. We can't wait to meet our little man!
